Barcelona - an amazing city !

Hello to everyone !

A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit Barcelona. I can honestly say that is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, also, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The city combines modern and historic architecture in a unique way. I went there with my boyfriend. Everyday we were doing something special. We spend a lot of time on the beach, we were sunbathing, playing varous funny games, swimming in the wonderful sea ! 

Besides of that, we visited The Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece. Certainly, is one of the Barcelona's most admired tourist attractions.

I visited also Park Güell, one of the world's most intriguing parks I've ever seen ! The park's colorful main staircase and the fanciful pavilions that were designed by Antoni Gaudí look like they belong in some fairy tale.

Of course, being in Barcelona I had to see The Camp Nou stadium and FCB museum! 

Plaza the Catalunya, Barrio Gotico, Picasso Museum there're places which you must see ! 

I fell in love with Barcelona! It's a perfect place for everyone !

The title doesn't sounds familiar for you? Don't worry, after this short note you'll be able to recognize great taste of Portugal!
Last year, when I was in Porto, I had an occasion to try this traditional Portuguese dish. I was invited to a birthday party and I was served a huge piece of bread, with few tipes of meat and fries.
Absolutely amazing sandwich, very hard to eat it at once. Of course I didn't make it, so I asked for a box to take it away.
Besides of good food, Porto is famous from a very friendly, openminded and helpful people. Language is similar to spanish, but sometimes I had troubles to preciselly express what I mean. Every person I had occasion to speak with, treated me with calm and patience.
Even though it was April, water in the ocean was calm enough to swim. Urban beach is very wide and clean. That was a pleasure to eat lunch on a sand with a sip of my favourite, light wine - Sangria.
So when you ask about the things that cames to my mind related with Portugal, I will say: Francesinha, sun and Sangria!

Discover activities and things to do in Tenerife!

A lot of people come to Tenerife for the swimming, sunbathing, eating delicious food and spoiling themselves. On the other hand, what makes the majority come back, year after year, is the island’s unique wealth of variety. After the time I spend in this amazing place, I can say that Tenerife is much more than its beaches, it's kind of fabulous land where you can discover something new every day. 

The Canary Island of Tenerife is an ideal choice for families, couples and groups of friends. There are two waterpars on the south part of the island, animal attractions including dolphin shows and monkey parks. 

Tenerife has a variety of landscapes along with rich forest, deserts, mountains fauna and flora, volcanoes and sublime coastlines. If you are there you should to visit the Teide National Park. It is the third largest volcano in the world.

Through the year Tenerife celebrate a lot of festivals most of them in connection with important religious dates. In my opinion, the most important and famous one is carnival in Santa Cruz. It lasts for more than three weeks in Fabruary and March. During this time,  there are a lot of fun with dancing, music and extraordinary costumes.

You can visit Tenerife at any time of the year. There are many restaurants, clubs with live music also international shows make the nights of this place very special. With amazing sands for the beach, abundance of watersports and lots of opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries, you can spend an unforgettable holiday in Tenerife.

Gran Canaria, here we go !

Last year, when I was in Erasmus, I had a lot of opportunities to travel. Due to a fact, there is a base of Ryan Air - a flying company, a lot of cheap flight connections are open for low-cost travelers like me :)

Spontaniously, during the breakfast we had with my friends, we decided to buy tickets to Gran Canaria. For a total sum of 50 euros for the tickets and another 100 euros spent for accomodation & food, travels, etc. we had unforgetable 5 days in a very nice place.

We located ourselves in a resort with bungalows and pool, in the center of Maspalomas.

Weather was great and we tanned our bodies. Also, we rented a car and drived through the island. During the evenings, we moved to discos or played funny games in our bungalow. For sure, that was exceptional trip. 

Because of the people and the landscapes I will never forget that time.

Hello Everyone ! 

Well, I've never been blogging so please be tolerant. At the beginning I would like to write you a few things about me.

My name is Edyta. I study Spanish Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. A few months ago I came back from the Iberian Peninsula, where I lived for a year. More precisely, I spent a wonderful year in the Basque Country which is located in the north of Spain. During this time and all my life, I've been travelling a lot, it is a kind of my passion, through this blog I would like to recommend to you places, that are worth to see before you die.
